Julie Thompson started making up stories before she could write, preferring to think of this as a literary exercise rather than lying. At the age of 10, after seeing her words in print in the Tulsa Public Schools Sampler, she contracted a writing virus for which there is no cure. Her professional adventures have included: • Internal and marketing communications copy for companies including Wells Fargo, MTV Networks, PBS, and KQED (Northern California Public Broadcasting) • Website copy, brochures, postcards, and email newsletters for a wide variety of small businesses • Book proposals, manuscript editing, and book marketing for self-published and traditionally published authors • Grant writing Julie graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Communications and still keeps in touch with a few fellow Spartans.
